Beyond the Grave
Heartfelt, as your story was — I didn’t feel it, I’ve become unknowingly numb. When you’re pushed beyond the grave, well, let’s just say you get driven a little insane. Let’s say you have powers and those powers have you, and beyond the grave that’s where feelings ensue, because they’re always waiting to have a small piece of you — so it seems, well let ‘em have you! Give up the fight, because the fight is won. Cower to your corner, where life has begun. Bow to the unknown, and allow it to enter. Everything is different on the other side, where the grave is tender. But be warned, and be careful, for the grave preys. Should you be its last victim? It’s too soon to tell, they say. Wait near the edge where your casket shines, and take in the sights of the great divine. Understand I leave you to find who it is you are. Trust my voice and don’t stray, or I’ll have another walk down this path of decay. The end is upon this full moon tonight. Allow the light to touch fine skin, and with these last words, I see…but oh so faint, my body.
