I’ll Remember This

Do you not get what I mean?
Do you not see what I’ve seen?
Everything is gone,
turned black and frozen
while I suffer next to emotion.
The power of emotion has me,
yet there’s no way to grasp pieces of my life.
I laughed, I failed, and I nailed
your corpse on the wall, a plaque
I’ll remember this.

I’ve made mistakes, broken, torn through heart’s emotion
you’ve taken it all, again, it’s nothing new so grab a pin.
Write to me what all you’ve caused, what all you’ve done
I might accept your apology
but too late, you’re the present I hold dearly.

That blood dripping down my wall over there is lovely
you should of thought about that before you double-crossed me.
