A spine poem is created by taking the title of a book or song and writing it in a vertical line, that creates the “spine” of the poem. After you have decided on a book or song title you can begin to write your poem (which can be about anything). A Night in Terror Tower is a book by R.L. Stine and that’s what I chose to write my spine poem. Write a spine poem and share it with me, I’d love to read it! 
A dream of you, I had,
Night so dark, and dead.
In this dream you was stuck,
Terror on your face, you ran out of luck.
Tower, old and grungy, is where I found your body.
