I Promised Lies
I said to you what I didn’t mean,
but somehow you believed me.
Believe what you wish,
believe what you will,
but remember lies are not meant to heal.
I promised lies the day we met,
I cannot tell the truth or my mouth will be sewn shut.
Bleeding.
A blood trail will lead to your door,
you will then envision your death,
and spend the rest of your life wondering when you‘ll be put to rest.
Bound by illusions, delusions.
Endless suffering will come to you,
I can feel my hands rubbing over you.
So soft to the touch, stressed a bunch!
I promised lies the day we met,
I’m not the man you thought you first met.
A demon seed,
a psychotropic effect,
I loved every minute of it.
Your chest open wide,
your tits divide,
slicing you open is an incredible crime.
Blood dripping off of the stainless steel table,
so take a deep breath.
If you’re able.

viceral…hoping the autopsy is metaphorical…though lies can cut to the marrow…
Hello, Brian. The autopsy was wonderful.
Lies are told every day, lies can cripple a person. But I wonder why people lie when it’s not necessary?

i think in some ways it becomes a habit…shame & pride as two immediate thoughts…
I agree.
I’m lying right now.
And what would you be lying about, K. Shawn?

eeew…shocking and a perfect glimpse into the psyche of a socio-path serial killer (I wonder if you watch a lot a “Criminal Minds” episodes like I do
Hey, Sheila!
Very shocking, but he enjoyed his little psychotic episode.
I don’t watch Criminal Minds. But I think I should give it a try.
yeah, i’m definitely creeped out a bit. this puts me more in mind of the show Dexter, but he is a killer that you feel for. i’m not sure i felt for this guy too much. just feel more like looking over my shoulder now.
Well, that’s the point.
And this character doesn’t want you to feel sorry for him.
Lol, yeah, I just realized I should have ended with, “nicely done” or something. It was late last night when I commented, so I’ll say it now. Good job! You creeped me out, I don’t feel sorry for him, and I’m a little scared now. Well done!
Haha! Thank you, Lori! It was really early when I commented back.
He appreciates you not feeling sorry for him.
This needs a love button. The penultimate in “I told you so.” I can envision the sinister grin and the twinkle in the eyes at the last line.
Red.
Thank you! I’ll get to work on installing the love button.
Indeed, I had a big grin after I wrapped this poem up.
